From the end of the High Scardus Trail stage 14 in Bitushe, descend the small mountain road until you reach a slightly larger road. Turn right here, pass through the village of Rostushe and continue down to the main valley to the big road R1202 from Lake Mavrovo towards Debar and Ohrid. Here you turn right to Debar. In Debar you turn left on the R1201 and follow the road along the western shore of the long reservoir to the south (direction Ohird). 24.5 km after the turnoff in Debar, a small road to Modrič branches off to the right. At a fork in the road, keep left and you will soon reach the deserted little village of Modrič. The start of High Scardus Trail stage 16 is at the end of the road at the upper end of the village at Cottage Keljekeske.
