End Stage 09: 3 small huts in Strezimir
High Scardus Trail Organization
ATTENTION: The cabins are locked and the key is currently deposited about 20 km out of the valley - so the cabins are currently self-catering. A solution is being worked on to make it easier to provide the key and also to organise a meal service. There are no locals living nearby and there is no mobile phone reception.

by carGetting there
From Tetovo, take the A2 or E65 south (or the same road north from Ohrid) to Novo Selo. Here you turn west to Lake Mavrovo. After a few kilometres you will reach the village of Mavrovi Anovi on the western shore of the lake. Just behind the village, a small road branches off to the west, taking you through a valley to Trnica, a small settlement with a hotel. Soon after the settlement, turn right at a fork and follow the small road through the valley for quite a while until, after a right turn, you take a sharp left onto a gravel road into a branching valley. Follow this somewhat rough road until you see the huts on the left after a sharp left turn (the last meters are steep).Parking
